Matsumoto Jun is awards winning actor, it started in 2002 when he won best supporting actor for his role as Sawada Shin in Gokusen.The award was from 333rd Television Academy Award. Three years later (2005) he won a supporting actor, again for his role as Domyuji Tsukasa (that's my favorite Jun's role) from 47th Television Drama Academy Award and 10th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix (Winter). Two years later (2007) he won best actor award for his role in Bambino from 53rd Television Drama Academy Award. For the same role he was nominated in best actor award from 11th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix (Spring). In 2008 Jun won another award, this time he won GQ man of the year award for his role in Hana Yori Dango Series. In 2009, Jun won best actor award for his role in Smile from 13th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix (Spring) and was nominated as best actor from 61st Television Drama Academy Awards. In summer 2010, Jun won best actor award for his role in
Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku. This is one of my favorite drama too. What a long list of award, Jun's next project is a stage when he will act as a boxer. Will he get another award for his role ?
